I am Chelsey, a Dutch Product Designer living and working in Japan. I have my own "one-woman-business" in the Netherlands but work a full-time job here in Japan as a UI/UX designer.

My skills include User Experience Design (from research and user-tests to prototypes), Interaction Design, User Interface design for web and app, as well as Graphic Design.

I have worked as a Web Design Intern at The Walt Disney Company Benelux (Web design) and as a UX research/design Intern at Sony Tokyo.

Following the designer's career path, I gained skills aside from UX, UI, and Interaction Design. I am eager to use my skills throughout the whole process of creating a product. Be it user tests or planning, brainstorming with engineers, defining requirements or having meetings with clients. My personal strength and passion lies in the "creating part" which is visual design and mostly (user) research.

My goal as a designer is to become a part of something bigger. To help create products and designs that benefit people in their daily lives and make life easier.

I speak and design in 3 languages: Dutch, English, and Japanese (JLPT N2 level).

Apart from designing I love fashion, music, and games. In my spare time, I love going karaoke, hanging out with friends and exploring new places in Kanto. If you are interested in working together or would like to know more about living in Japan as a designer, hit me up through mail or Linkedin!
